Our Story
Established December 5, 2014, True Advocate Group, LLC was founded to make a change in the way Seniors Benefits and Healthcare programs are brought to consumers. It is our opinion that this can only be accomplished through community engagement and building lifelong relationships with those we serve. There are many Senior benefit and Healthcare agencies that encourage agents to push products for the sole benefit of filling their pockets. You will not find that to be the case with True Advocate Group. Instead, our emphasis is on listening to our clients because we know that no two people are alike, and neither are their benefit needs. We strive to know each of our clients personally and their uniques circumstances so that we are able to tailor a program for them.

Andrew Ross
Agency Owner
A South Carolina native, Andrew graduated in 2009 with a B.S. in Business Administration from The Citadel and immediately went to work for an insurance firm selling employee benefits. Desiring a more relational career, Andrew changed his focus to senior market insurance, where he could engage one-on-one with individuals in his community and help them find affordable options. When he’s not working to bring the best care to his clients, Andrew enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, Alice, and their five amazing children.
Donna Simpson
Benefit Broker
Donna Simpson graduated from Bob Jones University in 1976 and is a talented musician and choral director. After devoting most of her career to serving in senior living and memory care facilities, she shifted her focus to financial services and is now extending her reach to senior market insurance solutions. Using the sum of her experience, she hopes to meet the needs of the disabled and aging populations. When not working, Donna enjoys spending time with her husband, Mark, and their adult children and grandchildren.
